Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Tamojit Ghosh, the operator of KinLab. By creating an account or using KinLab, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Who can use KinLab

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for activity on your Google account and for keeping it secure.

3. Not medical advice

This app is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Always consult a healthcare professional.

KinLab stores and displays information from your reports. Results, ranges, statuses and charts are for information only. Always discuss your results with a qualified healthcare professional, and never delay or ignore medical advice because of something in the app. In an emergency, contact emergency services.

4. Automatically read values

Values read automatically from photos and PDFs may be incomplete or wrong. You must check each value against the original report before saving it, and you are responsible for the accuracy of what you save.

5. Your content

You own the reports and information you add. You give us permission to store, process and display them only to provide KinLab to you.

Only add another person's health information if you have their permission or are legally authorised to manage it.

You decide when to create doctor links and whom to send them to. Only share a person's records with their permission and with people you trust. We are not responsible for how recipients use information you share with them.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use KinLab to break the law, upload content you have no right to share, try to access other people's data, overload or attack the service, or resell it.

7. The service

KinLab is free, with no limit on how many reports you scan. We work to keep it available and your data backed up, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your original reports, and use Download my data for your own copy.

We may change or stop the service. If we plan to shut it down, we will give at least 30 days' notice in the app so you can download your data.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, KinLab is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer protection law that cannot be limited.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using KinLab and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, after telling you why where we reasonably can.

10. Changes and governing law

If we make material changes, we will tell you in the app and ask you to accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of India.
